August 3, the IEI team had the privilege of hosting Dr. Jamie Alexandre, President of Learning Equality. Learning Equality, Inc. is the nonprofit organization that created KA-Lite, the offline version of the popular Khan Academy software. Dr. Alexandre was one of the original designers and programmers for KA-Lite, released to the public in December, 2012. KA-Lite is ideal for places like Liberia that have limited internet access, and it serves as the core learning platform for the Samuel Morris Scholars Program.
