  6. 3-4 comfortable shirts/tops
  7. Samuel Morris T-shirt (provided)
  8. 2 casual slacks/jeans & belt
  9. 1-2 pairs shorts/capris (knee length)
  10. Underwear, socks
  11. Flip-flops/beach sandals
  12. 1 pair casual shoes
  13. Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, hairbrush, razor, shaving cream, make-up, sanitary supplies, Kleenex, hand wipes, ziplock bags)
  14. Lightweight bath towel, hand towel, washcloth
  15. Mosquito repellent
  16. Sun screen
  17. Pocket flashlight
  18. Bible, journal notebook, pens (bring several as they tend to walk away)
  19. Phone & charger
  20. Snacks (trail mix, granola bars, etc.)
  21. Lightweight sweatshirt/jacket (for the plane)

Optional:

  1. 1 dress/skirt, below the knee or full length (ladies)
  2. Hat
  3. Sunglasses

  5. 1 comfortable dress shoes
  6. Extra washcloth to wipe off sweat throughout the day
  7. Travel detergent packs

What NOT to bring:

  1. Hair dryer or curling iron (the generators cannot support these appliances)
  2. Expensive jewelry/watches
  3. Laptop (plan to use a smartphone for any communication back home)
